Applying to a Catholic High School

Applying to a Catholic High School

Students must apply to attend a Catholic school. The details of the admissions process vary, but it generally includes an application, entrance test and interview. The entrance exam is offered on multiple dates from October through December. Admissions decisions are made by early spring. Depending on enrollment, a school may accept late applications until the start of a new school year.

As a first step, families should complete an online application to apply to any Catholic high school run by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. To apply for financial aid (optional), the deadline is March 15, 2021. Once you submit the application a checklist of requirements will generate to guide you through the next steps. These steps include providing student records and, if applicable, applying for tuition assistance. Once the school(s) review student records, they will make an admissions decision.

Other Catholic schools not listed on this application are likely independently-run Catholic schools with their own application and admissions process. For information on how to apply, please reach out directly to any schools not included on the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Application.
