Mission

Our mission at EM Stanton is to work together with students, families, staff, and community partners to provide a creative, diverse, and inclusive environment where children can reach their full potential.--Vision-E.M. Stanton is an urban-centered, K-8 school whose vision is to nurture confident, life-long learners. Through academic rigor, civic education, and cultural arts, we prepare students to be contributing members of society in an ever-changing world.

Points Of Pride

Stanton has worked to strategically use community partnerships to help support supplemental programming. Stanton has presented itself to the community as a worthwhile investment, and with the support of over 30 Community Partnerships it maintains a wide variety of programs.--For years, cultural arts have been engraved into Stanton's identity. With the ideal of "Academics + Arts = Excellence", Stanton has formed countless partnerships to support a well rounded education. Specifically in the area of Cultural Arts, Stanton has established lasting relationships with the local Cultural Arts Community, and through the support of the Bainbridge House, has supported weekly Dance, African Drumming, Brass, Violin, Clay sculpture, and Drama programming.--At Stanton, we consider parent involvement essential to the success of our staff and students. We encourage parents to take an active roll in their children's education. Opportunities for parent involvement include: the opportunity to volunteer within our building (be it in the classroom setting or just offering extra support for events), participating in our School Advisory Council (SAC), participating in our fundraising body the Stanton Community Partners, joining us for networking events, student performances, or Bethanna-SAC sponsored Chat & Chews, and the list goes on.
