Mission

Through daily teaching, witness and example, St. Jerome School strives to instill in our students a lifetime Christian value system and a strong sense of their Catholic identity. In our mission to educate the whole child, we provide spiritual, intellectual, social, physical and emotional experiences aimed at developing the students' potential.

Points Of Pride

1. Between 1995 and 2014 twenty-seven St. Jerome eighth grade students have been awarded the Neumann Scholarship: a full scholarship to any diocesan high school. In addition, over $120,000 in scholarship money was offered to our graduating class of 2012.
2. Students in grades 4 through 8 have participated in and were awarded various ribbons in the Reading Olympic Competitions.
3. Math teams have consistently placed in the top six in the Mathcounts Philadelphia Chapter Competition; individuals have placed in the top ten. St. Jerome School was a silver level school from 2007 to 2012 in the Mathcounts Club Program and gold level school in 2011. In the Pennsylvania Mathematics League of the Philadelphia region, Saint Jerome teams have consistently placed in the top four.
4. The teachers for PreK 4 and Kindergarten have been trained by the Children's Literacy Initiative. The children are taught using best practices and can read at the end of PreK.
