Mission
The STA PreK program is considered an academic experience and an introduction into the schooling years. We focus on supporting student growth with foundational academic skills. We focus on providing a safe environment and one in which students grow emotionally and academically.
Points Of Pride
1. PreK students experience a school day that is modeled on the rest of the school - they have Art, Music, Phys Ed and Computers-- -- 2. Teachers and Administrators welcome and promote parent involvement-- -- 3. Students participate in school celebrations much like the rest of the student body-- -- 4. Teachers work together to provide a successful student transition into Kindergarten
Admissions Policy
STA follows the Sep. 1st age guidelines as outlined by the state of PA - that is, students must be 3 or 4 by Sep 1 to enroll in the age specific class. Application and enrollment is conducted through an online system. STA welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds.
Safety and Culture
STA requires all the state mandated clearances for teachers and staff, as well as additional training on Safe Environment practice. The Catholic faith provides many opportunities for a positive climate in which students support each other.
