Mission

Our mission is to cultivate an environment that ensures a quality education that provides a consistent, clear understanding of what students need to learn. We set high expectations and implement a Common Core curriculum designed to embed relevant and diverse programming into rigorous instruction. The art of teaching will enhance the students' capabilities. We will actively engage and maintain school partnerships with all stakeholders in the educational process of our children.

Points Of Pride

Caring and nurturing educational program. Title I school-wide program. SMART Boards in grades 1 to 5. Relationships with several community partners, including CADE, Girls Inc., Banking on our Future, Einstein nutrition program, GREAT, D.A.R.E., Philippian Baptist faith-based outreach and Prince Hall Masons.

Students must live within designated catchment boundaries; students may apply to a school(s) outside of their neighborhood and will be considered via lottery based on a available space.

Accreditations and Honors

2nd place in regional First in Math competition, 2013. 2nd place in district Scrabble competition, 2012. 2nd and 3rd place for Junior Fire Patrol Activities book, 2008-2013.
