Mission

The Northeast Magnet Program provides a rigorous college preparatory curriculum with an emphasis on traditional college bound reading, writing, and critical thinking skills for the purpose of ensuring students are prepared for the rigors of a four year college education. 16 AP courses including the AP Capstone option and a full IB Diploma Program assist in that mission. Students that are interested in engineering, medical and aerospace careers paths are encouraged to apply for our Project SPARC extracurricular options. The staff promotes the development of strong values and the practice of good citizenship by serving as role models who exhibit the qualities of academic excellence, service and problem solving. Our ultimate goal is to prepare our students to emerge as responsible, successful and dedicated leaders in an evolving global community that are fully prepared for a four year college or university.
