Mission
Christ the King is a welcoming Catholic community. While respecting and accepting families of all backgrounds, CTK is dedicated to the formation of Catholic youth. It is our goal to encourage our Catholic students to thrive as full and practicing members of the Church. By keeping the example of Christ as an integral part of daily life, and through the use of traditional and current technological methods, we prepare our young people to be positive, productive members of society.
Points Of Pride
1. Preschool and kindergarten are staffed with part time and full time aides.- - - - 2. Children in our early childhood program receive services through Title 1 and CORA services.- - - - 3. Kindergarten is academically based and follows the Common Core standards.- - - - 4. All teachers have BA/BS/MA/Med degrees and have experienced one-on-one professional development.
Admissions Policy
Pre 3 requires a child to be 3 by September 1.- - - - - - - - Pre 4 requires a child to be 4 by September 1.- - - - - - - - Kindergarten requires a child to be 5 by September 1.
Safety and Culture
An alarm system protects the building and grounds of our school in the evening hours. The before and after school programs are held on the second floor of the school. Access to the school is available through one main entrance that utilizes a camera and intercom to identify persons. - - - - A log is kept upon entry and exit of the school building at all times.
