If preschool is not legally required, why should my child enroll in a preschool program?

According to the California Department of Education, “[your child’s] first five years are especially crucial for physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development” and will help determine what kind of adult they will be. For more information on children’s developmental stages, see our Your Child’s Development.

Pre-School provides a space for your child to develop and get ready for Kindergarten and beyond by exposing them to numbers, letters, simple directions, and other interactive activities.
