Mission

A Step Ahead was founded to provide developmentally appropriate programs to foster the development of children. We provide peace of mind for parents in knowing that their child is to be cared for in a way that he/she can grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically and in an environment that encourages positive interaction among all children. We believe that young children need to be actively involved in learning though play and opportunities to explore, experience, and succeed.

• All staff are certified in CPR, First Aid & Asthma.
• We are a Star 3 center with Keystone Stars.
• We have a Pre-K Counts Program.

Admissions Policy

We require:

• Updated immunization records
• Birth certificates
• Both parent's ID

We also request that parents come see our center with the child.
