Mission
Saint Martha Catholic School is an elementary school whose mission is to teach the message and values of Jesus Christ in an environment where all students feel accepted, fulfilled, and loved. We are committed to providing an enriching atmosphere which encourages academic success. We strive to work in partnership with families to foster Catholic community of school, home, and parish.
Points Of Pride
1. St. Martha School prides itself on its caring and loving faculty, staff, and students. -- -- 2. The annual Penny Walk helps families in need by providing them with Thanksgiving dinners and gifts at Christmas. -- -- 3. Our Catholic identity resonates as the children act out the Christmas Tableaux and Living Stations of the Cross.
Admissions Policy
Parents must provide a copy of the birth certificate, immunization record, and (if applicable) baptismal certificate. Children must be 3 or 4 for Pre- k program. Children must be 5 by September 1 for kindergarten and 6 by September 1st for grade 1.
Safety and Culture
Saint Martha Parish School has a lobby that is locked at all times. One must ring the bell to enter the lobby and the school. Children will not answer the door and let strangers into our school. Twice a year the children receive Safe Environment Lessons. These lessons can be viewed on the Archdiocese of Philadelphia website. We have a Crisis Management plan and practice drills regularly. the pastor and principal greet the children every morning.
