Our Mother of Consolation Parish School is dedicated to the mission of educating the children of parishioners as well as others who entrust their children to our care. Our purpose is to teach Catholic values and to contribute to the formation of educated Christian persons who live and proclaim the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. By maintaining a strong identity as a parish school, we create a faith filled academic community that promotes mutual respect and social responsibility.

Points Of Pride

1. Pre-Kindergarten focuses on the growth of the whole child: academically, physically, spiritually, socially and emotionally.- - - - 2. Our curriculum is based on the Archdiocesan curriculum guidelines which are available online. - - - - 3. The alphabet is our main focus throughout the year. Typically students explore a letter a week incorporating religion, reading, math, social studies, science and physical activities into our lessons for the week.

Admissions Policy

Students must meet the state requirements for age (3 years old by Sept 1 for Pre-K 3; 4 years old by Sept 1 for Pre-K 4). Parents must meet with the principal for an interview, and the student must visit the class for a Visit Day.

Safety and Culture

Our school building is entered though a video/bell system. Parents are required to call prior to having non-parents pick up the students. Any visitors must show identification. - - - - - - - - We focus mainly on using “teachable moments with this age group. We try to find things outside and in our classroom that students are actively interested in and we use those as teachable moments to teach and incorporate things from the curriculum.
