The Charter School, as an LEA, welcomes the participation of parents and family members in support of student learning and recognizes that parental and familial engagement increases the opportunities for student success.	Parents After School Volunteers;Parents Home and School Association

In an effort to support the health and safety of students and staff, the Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School Board of Trustees will continue to monitor local and state guidance on transmission and case rates in and around Philadelphia county; these rates will be used to determine when it will be appropriate to implement the hybrid in-person/virtual instructional model.

The Board will address and review all relevant data on a monthly basis but until such time as case and transmission, rates allow for safe in-person instruction an all virtual model will continue to be employed until further notice. The aforementioned decision is in accordance with the recommendations and guidance from the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the City of Philadelphia.
