Mission

Our mission is to promote the academic, social, and emotional well-being of each child.

Points Of Pride

Belmont Charter School serves students from Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. We are a proud community school offering:

  • Extensive Out of School Time (OST) program that operates year long to support the academic and social growth of our students.
  • Our school partners with many innovative education based non-profits including: The Children's Literacy Initiative, Playworks, the Please Touch Museum, and the Philadelphia Art Museum. These partnerships are made to introduce our students to new ideas and concepts outside of the classroom.
  • We provide social services to our families in need through our Department of Prevention and Family Support. This program provides housing assistance, job counseling, and case-managed social work.
  • Our school also partners with Education Plus Health to operate an on site health clinic staffed by a nurse practitioner who provides health care to our students and their families.
  • Robust College and Career readiness in all grades, with a special focus with our High School students who participate in expedition weeks where they volunteer and learn outside of their school building.
  • A Co-op program for high school students that includes internships, work-study and pre-apprenticeships which support students in developing their skills for post secondary education and beyond.

Admissions Policy
