Mission

Our vision at the Bregy School is to foster academic excellence for a diverse community of learners in which students are intrinsically motivated to become knowledge seekers, problem solvers, and culturally accepting individuals. Together staff, parents, students and the community, will create a nurturing and safe learning environment where all students maximize their potential. Upon graduation, our students will have the necessary skills to meet the ever-changing demands of the 21st century.

Points Of Pride

The Bregy school has a variety of clubs and programs that support the overall growth of our students, teachers, and parents. The following is a list of activities and programs at Bregy: Fast Program, Monthly Parent Cafe, Healthy Futures, Picasso Project, Girls Incorporated Program, Award Winning Chest Club, Activity Works, School Garden Club, Reading Olympics Champions, First in Math Champions, and George Washington Carver Science Fair Participants and Winners.

Admissions Policy

Students must live within designated catchment boundaries; students may apply to a school(s) outside of their neighborhood and will be considered if space is available.

Accreditations and Honors

2011-2012: Digitas Health Pharmaceuticals selected Bregy for improvements made on August 3, 2012 by 150 of their volunteers; 2011-2012: Featured in the Philadelphia Tribune's Learning Key, March 6, 2012; 2011-2012 Principal Wiler received the one of the "Person of the Year" Award, on behalf of the Philadelphia Boys and Girls Club.
