Points Of Pride

1.  One of only two recipients of a 2015-2016 Local Educators Award for a Philadelphia public school-2.  The Leader in Me program-3.  Student Leadership Opportunities: Student Council, Safety Patrol, Student Newspaper "The Fit Fin"-4.  Middle Years (grades 6-8) Inter-Scholastic Sports: Girls’ Basketball, Volleyball, and co-ed Basketball.-6.  Recipient of the following grants: Community Design Collaborative, The 'I Am A Leader' Grant from the Covey Foundation, Healthy Newsworks.-7.  Notable Arts Activities: upper and lower school choir.-8.  Extra-curricular Activities: School Newspaper, Intermediate Division 1st place Reading Olympics teams, Yearbook Committee, Choir, Tech Squad.-9. One of only two media lab schools in the city: produces school TV broadcasts.

Admissions Policy

Students must live within designated catchment boundaries; students may apply to a school(s) outside of their neighborhood and will be considered via lottery based on a available space.
