Mission

Our mission is to provide our students with a rigorous academic program and comprehensive educational experiences in a safe, supportive learning environment, which will prepare students for postsecondary studies, careers and opportunities in the fields of the expressive arts.

Points Of Pride

Kensington CAPA is a participant in the Philadelphia Postsecondary Success Program, which supports a college- and career-going environment. We offer a rigorous film and cinematography program and a commercial art and graphic design program (certified CTE programs). Students can graduate from these programs with certifications that allow them to enter the industry upon graduation.

Serves students from catchment area. Students from outside catchment are selected in the lottery.
