Mission

The mission of KIPP Philadelphia Charter School is to develop the character, knowledge, and skills of our students so they will succeed in top-quality high schools, college, and the competitive world beyond.

Points Of Pride

KIPP provides rigorous academics with a strong focus on a well-rounded education including character building and enrichment opportunities. With a longer school day (7:40AM - 3:30PM), students have an intervention block where they receive additional supports in reading and math. Beyond the academics, we have exciting field lessons, end of year trips, and student clubs.

Admissions Policy

Open to all students who live in Philadelphia. If there are more applications than available seats, a lottery will be held. The school’s enrollment policy gives priority to the following groups in this order: Parent is staff member or founder, Sibling attending; Sibling accepted offer, Parent is alumni, Lives in Philadelphia
