Points Of Pride
KIPP provides rigorous academics with a strong focus on a well-rounded education including character building and enrichment opportunities. With a longer school day (7:40AM - 3:30PM), students have an intervention block where they receive additional supports in reading and math. Beyond the academics, we a strong orchestra program, exciting field lessons, end of year trips, and student clubs.
Admissions PolicyOpen to all students who live in Philadelphia. If there are more applications than available seats, a lottery will be held. The school’s enrollment policy gives priority to the following groups in this order: Parent is staff member or founder, Sibling attending; Sibling accepted offer, Lives in Philadelphia
Accreditations and HonorsAdequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for Two Consecutive Years: 2009-2010 and 2010-2011; Recognized by the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools as a Member in Good Standing for the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 School Year.
