Mission

Maritime Academy Charter Middle School provides students in grades 2-8 a rigorous academic program with the special theme of maritime studies. MACHS students work with the latest technology to learn maritime content such as nautical science and maritime business, while achieving to high standards in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and the Arts.

Admissions Policy

Students who are serious about learning and have a deep interest in math, science, and technology are invited to apply. There is a formal application process for students to be admitted in the fall of each year. Upon acceptance, an information session will be scheduled to review school policies and procedures.--Application process: 1) Submit the New Student Enrollment Application (typically due in February). We will not accept duplicate applications. If multiple applications are submitted, only the first application will be considered. 2) If there are more applications than available seats, a lottery will be held. Incomplete applications will not be processed or entered into the lottery. 3) An acceptance letter will be sent out within a week of the lottery if your child is accepted and your documentation will be required to be submitted.
