Mission

The mission of Overbrook School for the Blind is to develop and deliver an education that enhances the options available for persons with visual impairment and other challenges so that they have the greatest opportunity to experience active and fulfilling lives.

Along with academics, we offer many special services and activities that are important to children who are blind or who have visual impairment. Orientation and mobility teachers help our students learn how to be comfortable in their surroundings and safely get from place to place. We are always working to make sure that the campus is safe and accessible for all of our students, including those in wheelchairs. How is the rating for School Incidents calculated?
