The Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) prepares students to be college and career ready by providing a rigorous academic and creative experience that allows variously talented students to deeply explore artistic skill sets and scholarly disciplines in a diverse, inclusive, safe and antiracist environment.

CAPA named as one of the "Top City Schools in 2011 and again in 2020 " by Philadelphia Magazine; one of the SDP high schools to be named on the "Best High Schools in Pennsylvania" list by U.S. News and World Report. Named as one of the top-rated schools in the state. Award winning staff with many staff being named Lindback Award recipients, including the principal. Principal Beaver is Fellow in the Philadelphia Academy of School Leaders. Middles States Accredited.
