Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (SCH) is an independent school that offers a rigorous curriculum to over 1,200 students from over 100 regional zip codes and international origins. SCH's unique educational model of single-sex programs in Pre-K through 8th grade followed by a coed 9th-12th grade experience empowers its students to thrive independently and collectively. SCH is distinguished by signature programs in entrepreneurial leadership, robotics and engineering, college preparation, new media, outdoor education, and the principles of sustainability. Founded in 1861 and situated on a 62-acre campus in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia, the school has a long history of educational excellence, preparing students to lead lives characterized by thoughtfulness, integrity, and a passion to effect positive change.

2) Member of National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and The Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools (ADVIS). 3) In 2012, SCH Academy was the only private school in Pennsylvania to be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a Green Ribbon School for its efforts to save energy, reduce costs, feature environmentally sustainable learning spaces, protect health, foster wellness, and offer environmental education to boost academic achievement and community engagement.
