Mission
Saint Laurentius School serves the children who are entrusted to our care by proclaiming and teaching the Catholic faith while providing a challenging academic education. Utilizing a variety of resources, we provide opportunities for personal formation in a safe and caring environment that encourages the growth of future life-long learners in a global society.
Points Of Pride
Children's Literacy Initiative used in Pre K and Kindergarten . A pilot STREAM School in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia focused on Science, Technology,Religion, Engineering, Art and Math. Winner of March Madness Academic Competition and Fishtown Spelling Bee. Spanish in grades 5-8. Advanced Math class in grades 5-8. Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership (PAEP) after school programfor grades 5-8. Other after school clubs are offered. Sports program, through Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). Before and after school CARES Program. Free breakfast and Lunch Program through Nutritional Development Service (NDS). Winner of Barnes Foundation STEM Competition.
