The Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush is a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School , who believes in a restorative justice-practice philosophy and stands out for excellence in merging the arts and academics together to create well rounded, civically minded individuals. Students are encouraged to develop and demonstrate their artistic abilities in performance and exhibition throughout the school year. Our community represents a diverse student population that celebrates differences and welcomes all points of view.

Admissions Policy

Students must meet specific grades (A's, B's, and two C's), attendance marks (90%), score in the 50th percentile (proficient/advanced) on either Math or ELA on approved standardized test. Audition & Portfolio required for Visual Art. Please visit our website for additional information and audition requirements. A passed audition is required in chosen major: visual arts, instrumental music, vocal music, theater, or dance.
