Mission

The Thurgood Marshall School Mission is to provide a safe environment where children can become life long learners developing the needed academic and social skills to think critically and independently, and becoming technologically creative. We endeavor to encourage and guide students through activities and experiences, which will assist them in achieving their full potential, while developing the necessary academic and social skills that will enable them to become productive adults.

Points Of Pride

First in Math award recipients each year. Music and Art programs are offered. Community Partnerships with Cora Beacon, City Year Greater Philadelphia, Need In Deed, Eat Right Now, Logan/Olney EPIC, and Junior Achievement.

Admissions Policy

Students must live within designated catchment boundaries; students may apply to a school(s) outside of their neighborhood and will be considered via lottery based on a available space.

Accreditations and Honors
